CREATIVE ART CLASSES

Our Creative Art Classes encourage students to learn techniques and varied forms of Visual Arts and Expression. We explore creativity through drawing, painting, sculpting, craft making, and storytelling. Students are given an opportunity to express themselves in a supportive and safe-learning environment. Our art classes are fun, experimental, sensory friendly, educational and enjoyable whilst improving skills such as hand-eye coordination, concentration and fine and gross motor skills, flexibility and cognitive ability. In addition, students’ have the opportunity to exhibit and display their works of art if they wish to do so.

MUSICAL MARVELS

  • Musical instruments including rainbow piano, percussive instruments and guitar with hands plucking strings.
  • Teenage boy with Down' Syndrome taking distant learning music lessons at home over the internet.

Musical Marvels is an interactive based music class that is composed of activities exploring rhythm, melody, vocal ability, percussion and other various instruments. These classes improve motor skills and prompt clients’ creativity through auditory and visual stimulants. These thought-provoking activities allow students’ to freely express themselves through the music they create, while expanding on social skills and building relationships with one another. PTE’s Musical Marvels nurtures and encourages the clients’ development of their self-esteem, social and motor skills and self-expression in a safe and friendly environment.

DARE TO DANCE

Dare to Dance classes are an enjoyable way to improve strength, flexibility, fine motor skills and to keep the brain active. Our classes are designed to encourage students in their creative expression by teaching a variety of dance and movement styles. It is also a wonderful way to meet new friends, increase self – esteem and confidence as well as keeping yourself healthy and active in a supporting and engaging environment.

ONLINE CLASSES

We have a range of classes made available through our online learning platform. We take the health of our staff, students and carers very seriously and we ask that if you are presenting with symptoms of illness, to please get in touch and we cill do our best to accommodate and move to online learning to avoid transmission. 

CUSTOMIZED CLASSES

  • Young participants living with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) are smiling whilst engaging in our colourful, sensory class.
  • Young participant living with Cerebral Palsy is connecting and laughing with his mother, whilst engaging in drawing activities.
